Does your call change when you go from Tech to General?
Does it stay the same always as you progress to Extra besides the vanity etc?

You can have them (FCC) select the next sequential call for your location or you can have them keep your existing call. or get a vanity call.
I kept my novice call from tech then to general.

Yup, 1 letter call after your area designation is the oldest.
I got my call when the code was still required as a novice so my call is WH6_ _ _.
Kept it since....(General) when the 5 wpm code was still there.

I thought it did but was not sure. I like my call, and others do too.
