For those in Stockton to Merced, California and Truck drivers that went thru there and up I-5 on a regular basis, I'm sure they will remember the rediculous things that went on a few years back.

A guy (Tony) in Turlock, California put on a DK with 4000 watts 24/7 for days at a time.  HE then called the F.C.C. monitoring station oin Livermore and complained about it. (himself).  He kept calling until the agent finally sceduled a trip to Turlock and Tony turned the DK off.  Then after the MAN left town, Tony turned it back on and called and complained again. After 3-4 times the MAN came to town, they finally gave up and Tony had the DK 24/7 for over 2 years.

A friend of his, and a one time friend of mine--he got his mind screwed up in Vietnam--used to have his entire family in on his schnanigans.  He would give his family members a shift that they would work to keep his crap going.

He would come on the radio--with about 2500 watts and an 8 element beam aimed at Turlock and say, "Hog-pen, Son, Hog-pen". That is all he would say!
every 15 minutes around the clock.

No One ever had any idea what he meant--except maybe he wanted us to "waller in da mud wid eem".

Another thing that I believe started in Turlock--because that is the only place I heard it for years--is "Your a MUD-DUCK, NO DOUBT".  I get so sick of hearing that every day here in Checotah Oklahoma--uuuuugh!

It seems to me that in ,all walks of life self respect has vanished.
When did it become ok for people to say one thing and do another.
When did flakey acting, rude behavior and disrespect get accepted in our world.
It is us the average male(mostly white) that now sits on our asses and says nothing to the "people" that act out of line.
However I also think that the foul mouthed imature people on the cb love for us to pay them some attention.

I ignore 'em.

If i tell them to go brush their teeth and use some mouth wash for that nasty mouth, that is just a cue for ol' brown teeth to really get wound up.

If they want to show their ignorance, be my guest.

When I find a foul mouthed trouble maker. I make sure everyone knows where they live. It seems to quiet them down most of the time. Why can't people just have a normal conversation? But it was the same in the sixties guys! I'm 56 and have been doing this a long time, and you had the foul mouthed operators then too. Maybe not as many, but they were there.

Some people just prefer to display their family traits. Ignorance is hereditary.

Yeah the profane have been around awhile.  But I remember making many trips with my young family in the early 70's, and never hearing anything worse than "jackass".  Most of the "adult" talk was inuendo (sp?) so  when it was engaged in, the kids couldn't understand what was being talked about.  Common courtesy and good manners are sadly not seen much anymore.  Most people don't think anything about cursing and rough language in front of women and children anymore.  Very sad.

I feel these types are utter cowards. "Oh I can sit in my house and swear at people because we are not face to face and they will never find me. And if they do knock on my door I will say it wasn't me and they will go away." They say that using profanity is a way of making up for lack of communication skills and an unusually low level of intelligence. Point proven.
