i like the President George...anyone know where to find one? checked Fleabay and nothing there but a user manual. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Last couple of them I saw weren't all that impressive. Had a tendency to RF feedback in the mike audio (squeals) when used with extra power.

Pretty sure that it's a "President Europe" model. Don't think very many were imported from France.

A good thing, best I can tell.

have you seen the president eagle eye, claudio, claudio, they scream on the air, hard to find though,

The George has been out of production several years.I agree with Nomad, I used mine for a week or so and put on the shelf as a conversation piece.The 2510,2600,2830,Lincoln is a better radio.

I own one.... And love it !!!! A little tricky to operate sometimes, but once you learn it, you'll love it. Got mine on E-Bay. You can change the color of the display from orange to green also. And the funnction switches also light up! A must for me since I drive at night. Keep checking E-Bay.... You might get lucky. Grin
